Tom Walker is a nationally recognized retirement author & speaker with over 8 years experience working closely with federal employees & their families to design their ideal retirement. Tom has a passion for empowering federal employees to achieve their financial independence by successfully coordinating their government benefits with successful retirement strategies. As an avid reader and frequent keynote speaker, it was a natural progression for Tom to begin writing in 2016 when he recognized the need to leverage his knowledge in a way that enabled him to reach more of those trying to make informed retirement decisions. Since then, Tom has been a Featured Author on many of the largest Federal Employee News Syndicates in the country & has had the opportunity to enlighten and educate more than 250,000 readers (and counting!) in that short time. Tom is incredibly excited to be compiling & organizing the concepts first articulated in his articles into a full length Federal Retirement Planning book coming later this year!
A serial entrepreneur, Tom has coupled his hands-on experience starting & growing numerous businesses with his studies of successful retirement planning strategies to help business owners achieve their retirement goals. With the incorporation of strategic planning partnerships, WalkerCPG is uniquely positioned to share the knowledge necessary to help those entrepreneurs who pour everything into building their business & contributing to the American Dream.
Tom is also a proud Big Brother with the Big Brother Big Sisters program & the founder of ‘Guitar Charaoke’, a non-profit that allows Tom to raise money for local causes while sharing his love of music & karaoke style guitar.
